The Week is a weekly published from the “Malayala Manorama Group”. The Week does not lose any opportunity to malign the Hindu movement. Throwing all journalistic norms to the winds, The Week published a defamatory article on Shabarikumbh in its issue dated 18-Dec-05. Taking a serious note of this smear campaign, The Week is being slapped with a legal notice by the organizers of Shabarikumbh.

Minorities -muslims and christians- have alwyas taken unfair advantage of Hindus’ broad mindedness. Hindus must ‘arise, awake and stop not till the goal of regaining the glory of Hinduism and bringing back to hindufold our bretheren deceptively and/or forcefully converted to islam and christanity. Malayala manorama is notoriously known for its anti hinduism stance.
At the same time we hindus must accept certain weakness in our pholosophy. There is no brahmin, there is no bania, etc. We have only one caste that is only Hindu. No upper or lower caste. To survive and progress we must build the unity. Thanks

its very plesent to hear about sabri kumbh organisation. adivashi and dalits are also hindu and ,we hindu should make a unity to foster the paln of muslims and crishtan.I have read kuran, hadith and bible and i never felt there religion is better than ours.our religion is really good, but we have to do hard work for this so that expectation of common people from religion fulfilled.

It is very nice to know that we have slapped a legal notice on the week magazine. We will need now to patient and let the law take its own course, which is a lot of time in India. However, I am sure it shall go in our favour and hopefully a huge fine will be slapped on the week by the court.

Not only The Week, Outlook, Indian Express, even the Hindu Daily….the list is very long. First thing I would like to say that We(Hindus) buy them, We publish them, We gives them advertising revenue. And as a rewards we gets anti-hindu stands in their news, their views.
I think there is a nationwide campaign is necessary against this so-called secular media. And first we should:
1.Stop to buy this type of megazines & newspapers.
2.Stop to give them advertisement.
3.Write letters to their editors.
4.Stop buying products which are advertised in such publications.
5.Write letters to the advertised brands (companies) about our
stands that in future if they publish their advertisement in
such magazine/newspapers, we will stop to buy their products.
May I expect anybody to initiate a strong campaign against these anti-Hindu media?

It is sad that every day we hindus ignore the rampant assault on hindusim by the media, who are fed by our hindus’ money. The best thing is if every one of us boycitt these newspapers, we will see light at he end of the dark runnel.

I AM VERY HAPPY TO HEAR THAT A RENAISSAINCE IN HINDU SOCIETY IS NOW SET TO START. THE INNOSCENT TRIBALS OF OUR HOLY COUNTRY ARE THE SOFT TARGETS OF THESE PATHETIC MISSIONARIES. I HEARTLY THANK SANGH TO INITIATE THIS WORK.
I HAVE A SUGGESTION THESE CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES HAVE VERY HIGH CLASS COMMUNICATION CHANNELS LIKE TV SHOWS, RADIOS TO MISLEAD PEOPLE.
SO A RADIO CHANNEL SHOULD BE STARTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO HELP THE TRIBAL AND RURAL PEOPLE IN THE MAINSTREAM.
THANK YOU AND MY BEST WISHES TO EACH HINDU NATIONALIST.

THE SANGH HAS ALWAYS DONE GOOD WORK IN ALL SPHERES OF LIFE.
WHENEVER THERE IS FLOOD , CYCLONE, EARTH QUAKE , OR ANY OTHER NATURAL CALAMITY. IT ALSO HELPED THE COUNTRY AND ITS ARMY DURING THE WAR WITH CHINA, THE RSS ALSO HELPED THOUSANDS OF HINDUS IN THE PAKISTAN TO COME BACK SAFELY IN INDIA DURING PARTITION. THE EFFORT OF RSS WAS EVEN PRAISED BY NEHRU THE THEN PM , WHO CALLED THE RSS FOR REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION. THE ENTIRE PRESS MEDIA WHICH IS IN HANDS OF THE COMMUNISTS, OR THE SUDO- SECUKLARIST BRIGADE WHO HAVE NO CONNECTION OR CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS THE GRASS ROOTS OF THIS COUNTRY.
INSTEAD THEY REGULARLY RUN ANTI-RSS ANTI- HINDU CAMPAIGN, TO JUST PLEASE THE MUSLIMS.
ANGLO- INDIAN PAPERS LIKE TIMES OF INDIA ( ACTUALLY IT SHUD BE CALLED TIMES OF PAKISTAN!!) HAVE NO AFFINITY TOWARDS THE COUNTRY OR THE HINDUS.
ALL THESE MEDIAS SHOULD BE REALISED OF THEIR MISTAKES BY HOOK OR CROOK
; EVEN IF IT MEANS TO THRASH THEM OTHER WISE THE GOOD WORK DONE BY ORGANISATIONS LIKE RSS WILL ALWAYS BE KEPT UNDER CARPETS AND THE SONIAS , PASWANS, SHARAD PAWARS OF THIS COUNTRY WHO HAVE NO NATIONALISM WILL CONTINUE TO GET HIGLIGHTED FOR NOTHING EXCEPT THAN MUSLIM APPEASEMENT AND FOR DIDVIDING HINDUS IN CASTES. WE HINDUS MUST UNITE IN 1 GROUP WHICH IS CASTELESS , I.E. THERE IS NO DALIT OR BRAHMIN IN OUR RELIGION EVERY ONE IS EQUAL AND HE OR SHE GETS GOOD RESPECT IRRESPECTIVE OF CASTE.

The way to counter these ’secularist-islamo-christian-maoist’ media tactics is to have pro-Hindu DAILIES in all the regional languages and in English. It should be fairer than these western-slaving Indian media houses. Our news, views and media presentation also must be very attractive visually keeping the teens, children in mind.
Sudarshan TV has already started; but the work is far from finished. apart from these matters I totally agree with Jeet Bhargav and Anand Bohra about Boycotting newspapers ‘preferentially’and also the products they advertise.
With all our prayers, positive energy and strength for this Kumbh parv
Vande mataram, na hindu patito bhavet!!

the week is a christian malayalee owned newspaper. isnt it amazing that islamic and christian media are on a constant mode of attack, attack, attack. unfortunately centuries of being a conquered nation have left the hindus as a self loathing, self hating bunch.
this movement to awaken vanavasi power is just the beginning of the hindu renaissance. in due course of time hindu society will be led NOT by so called intellectuals and brown sahibs but by true spiritual hindus.

Dear Sir,
It is really a great thing to hear about the Kumbh and also that its venue The Dangs, which has for long been the place of rampant conversions to Christanity, The Manorama group of Kerala is owned by Christains. So they will definately raise the issue and publish defamatory articles on it, and you know these things are all links on the gran plan to convert Indian Hindus.

I really liked Mr. Jagdish Joshi’s comment: ” At the same time we hindus must accept certain weakness in our pholosophy. There is no brahmin, there is no bania, etc. We have only one caste that is only Hindu. No upper or lower caste. To survive and progress we must build the unity.”
I would also like to point out few important issues. First, like Christianity and many other religions, we DO NOT HAVE A POWERFUL and ACTIVE Central AUTHORITY or STRUCTURE. It is very sad that not even 1% of Hindus know the names of four Sankracharyas. Sankracharyas should be ACTIVE in providing guidance to hindus on a regular basis and should come up with an action plan to prevent march of christianity.
Second, we have countless sampradyas, some of them are somewhat useless. They weaken the core of our religion. They are there for their own selfish motives. I am not trying to minimize some good activities of some sampradays as Vyasan-Mukti, free medical care etc but they are not an answer for one’s spiritual development. Just say NO to these sampradyas.
Just think about this. A christian goes to a church and a muslim goes to a mosque to practice their religion and hear a discourse on the religion. How many temples offer regular weekly satsang on Geeta, Vedas or Upnishad? NONE. That is why a hindu has no choice but to join any of these sampradya, which is very unfortunate. Sankracharyas should establish a system where a voluntary team of local and knowledgable persons, a learned priest, a professor, or any learned and spiritualy inclined persons can deliver lectures every week in a temple. This will slowly but surely build unity I believe. Once hindus are united, I AM SURE THAT POLITICIANS WHO BRAGS ABOUT SECULARISM for their own political gain will be forced to listen to hindus. Rarely in this world, you will find such stupid and braindead politicians who enjoy the decay of their own religion for their selfish motives. The third or fourth generaion of these politicians will be either christian or Muslim if they don’t wake up. For some politicians, its perfectly alright for Christian missionaries to open up their shop in INDIA and convert poor hindus but they have a problem when Hindus try to stop it.
Being in a western world, I know how powerful Chritian propganda machine is. We simply can not afford to be ignorant. We also need to make the FACTS be known.
Temples should not collect crores of rupees and not use for the welfare of the poor people in the society.
Comments, suggestions and criticism is welcome. Lets learn from eachother.

Shabri Kumbh Mela has helped to trigger a debate amongst Hindus as to what they are and what their Goals & means are in respect of how to erdicate misinformation spread by non-Hindu and neo-secularist ^ psuedo-secularist groups and induviduals and how to counter proselytization, by legal & civilised means. But first we,the so called ‘Hindus’ have to understand what Hindu meams so we can define ourselves.
Lot of confusion lurks around the words Hinduism & Hindutva, and unfortunately, misused by the Hindu organisation & non-Hindu organisation for acheiving thier own agenda.Large number of Hindus I have met have different solutions for acheiving fame and giving its due merit to glorify Hindu religion. Some have no clue what Hinduism means and what & how the tag Hindu came about.
Good example - is Aditya for Untited States. He seems to have a very low understanding of Hinduism. Historically - most Hindus by now know that the word Hindu derived from the word Sindhu and the people to use this extensively were the Muslim invaders - and the tag stuck on us and we accepted it happily. GOOD. Then the British colonisers coined one word Hinduism - like communism - Socialism - for the way of Hindus. This kiiled the notion of Hindu as religion - rightly so as it is known fact that Vedic culture never had any ‘religion’- but Dharma - wrongly defined by westerners as ‘religion’. The only true definition of religion is Sampradaya.
Hinduism’s true name & philosophy is Sanatan Dharma…the eternal Dhrama..with no founder and no head ..like the pope. It can never have a leader nor a centralised body as sanatan Dharma’s fundamental principal is ’self realisation’…meaning we have every indivdual has a choice of choosing personally how, where and whom to pray for ’self realisation’…the final goal of every soul. Aditya for USA fails to understand that becaus of this basic principle Sanatan Dharma has thousands of Sampradayas and rightly so. In Vaishnav Samprdaya there are further sun- sampradaya…The followers of Haveli (Baby Krishna worshipers), The Here Krishna (Iskon - the worshiper of plutonic love of Radha & Krishna), and another who only worship Radha etc..etc.. Shivites have the similar choice of having many sub-sampradyas. We even have athiest, idol & non-idol worshippers, total believers & partial beleivers in Veda..to describe every sampraday & Panth in depth will need a thick encyclopedia. So to say just organise like the Christians and Muslims is not possible. However a loose umbrella organisation can work with minimum common programme.
Sanatan Dharma has facinated millions all around the world only because of its diversed belief and variation in tradition from one end of India to other…all accepted in the grand design of Sanatan Dharma. I would go to the extend of saying that Sanatan Dharma has servived thousands of years just because of this diversity & freedom of worship. Snatan Dharma is live and evolving - and not static like other non-Hindu religions.
What we all should aim at is to work towards, in orderly and with legal means, to kill the myths and misinformation spread by the non-Hindu & pseudo-secularits all over the world. We must take this war to the doors of the culprits and win over by meaningful debate and by using legal & Media where needed. Our communication all around world should be quick and well net-worked. Violence and mob culture should be avoided at all cost.

I am totally agreed with bhaisri Aditya’s(US) views. he suggest very unique and practical ideas. We should starts some powerful work in this regards, otherwise the fanatic christians & muslims & so-called secularist will destroy Hindu, Hindi & Hindustan. Not only the anti-Hindu mullas & fathers but anti-Hindu secularist have no faith in Bharat, it’s glory, culture & history. It is shameful that some handful of Hindus’ & media acting against Bharat and Hinduism, for their vested interests, votebanks & getting forign funds. Their reallity should be exposed, and our temples, gurus, yogis, kathakaars should come ahead for this noble cause.
